Hello Friends,
Easter and Passover holidays are such a wonderful time of the year for all of us: a time for renewing commitments and for creating lasting memories with family and friends. We experience the feeling of giving to those whom we love and to those who are in need. In an effort to make you feel as good as possible, Benchmark Wine Group and Red Car Wine Co. has teamed up with Pass The Wine for a unique charitable event.
Pass The Wine is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit charity that has developed unique strategies for monetizing collectible wine. With Benchmark as a partner, Pass The Wine last year was able to donate thousands of dollars in grant support to such charities as Alliance for a Healthier Generation, Share Our Strength, and Kids In Distress, to name but a few. These are all organizations which assist children with nutritional, health and educational needs, as well as neglected and abused children.
In addition to the funding that will be raised through your attending the dinner, we will have a silent auction featuring a bevy of Winemaker-signed magnums from David Ramey, Mike Officer (Carlisle), Andy Erickson (Ovid and Screaming Eagle), John Alban, Maggie Harrison (Lillian), and many more. A beautiful vertical of Heidi Barrett’s “cult” Amuse Bouche has been donated for the event!
